Jon Gomez works across disciplines as a visual artist, animator, filmmaker, and photographer. Jon is best known for his multi-media ephemeral drawings that investigate the human form through unearthly and often grotesque images. He has featured work in several exhibitions along the west cost, and has worked as a conceptual designer for a number of multi-media projects including Clive Barker’s “Fear Project.” Gomez was instrumental in organizing a gallery show of Ray Bradbury’s short stories and novels in Los Angeles, including Fahrenheit 451 and the Martian Chronicles. Gomez has lectured for the Academy for Creative Media at the University of Hawaii, Riverside Community College, and is a full-time faculty member at California Institute of the Arts within the esteemed Character Animation department.
