Architecture

+ Environmental Design

CSSSA is pleased to announce a new discipline in Architecture and Environmental Design (AED) in partnership with our 2026 host site, Cal Poly Pomona. This new discipline will offer design studio courses that consider the architecture, sustainability, and the environment. Students will engage with challenging design projects that demonstrate socially and environmentally responsible design practices. The curriculum will expand each student’s understanding of how to make knowledgeable and thoughtful design contributions to the spaces and environments we inhabit.

To learn more about CSSSA and the Cal Poly Pomona partnership, see our press release.

Students currently enrolled in grades 8 through 12 are eligible to apply. (CSSSA is open to students entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 next fall 2025. CSSSA is also open to students who are graduating from high school in the spring of 2025. You can still do the program the summer after graduation.)

More information will be made available regarding the curriculum, courses, and faculty in the near future. Check back soon!
